Executive Assistant & Social Media Coordinator

POSITION:Executive Assistant & Social Media Coordinator

LOCATION: Burlington, Ontario

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: CEO, Manager, Client Solutions

We are focused on providing customized solutions that provide insight to support the strategic, process, leadership and analytical needs of leading organizations world-wide. Our core areas of practice are: Team and Leadership Development, Governance, Strategy and Research and Data Analytics.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Administrative Support

  • Work directly with our CEO and team members on a variety of internal and external documentation/communication (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Coordinate logistics such as travel, meeting requirements, CEO scheduling, client deliverables etc.
  • Liaise with vendor partners and clients
  • Ensure quality control/proofreading/editing for client deliverables and marketing
  • Oversee client project administration (including project set-up, contract administration, file maintenance, etc.)
  • Respond to client requests both professionally and in a timely manner
  • Maintain electronic team calendars as well working with as external parties to determine priorities and resolves schedule conflicts.
  • Handle one-off-matters proactively and quickly
  • Organize and document office operations and procedures; and ensure these procedures are being followed
  • Support our team with other duties that may arise
  • Maintain office supplies and files, as well as organize documents

Social Media-Website Coordination

  • Understand and consistently promote the Satori Consulting Inc. brand
  • Develop a strong understanding of our four lines of business
  • Proactively manage Satori’s social media profiles and presence
  • Maintain word press website and work closely with web developers and designers
  • Research, write and distribute shareable content targeted for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content
  • Collaborate in the writing and editing of fresh and relatable web content
  • Maintain up to date mailing lists

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of business experience in social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and web content management
  • Experience in SEO and conversion optimization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent grammatical and editing skills to write/edit proposals, client reports, and marketing pieces
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently in a small business environment
  • Multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills
  • A flare for creativity
  • Proactive and independent approach to problem solving, and ability to make good decisions in a rapidly changing environment
  • An ‘in charge’ presence and a passion to get things done
  • Curious, and strives to understand work being done and how it impacts our clients and our firm
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help out in all areas of the business as needed
  • Keenness to learn and grow with the company
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Valid Ontario’s Driver’s license and access to a car
