DCS Global Enterprise (DCS), a rapidly growing private company, is Canada’s trusted advisor on cleaning and sanitization management issues for property and facility managers.  This newly created role will be the ‘right hand’ to the CEO/Founder, with the goal of heading the Canadian consulting operations, within the year.    As a self-starter, who has an entrepreneurial spirit, you will lead and motivate your team (both internal and external). You are a strategic thinker who has a passion for operations/ finance and loves to roll up his/her sleeves to create reports/dashboards to continually improve efficiencies.    At any given time, DCS is engaged with up to 20 custodial consulting assignments across the country.  They have built their strong client brand based on the value of delivering on time, within budget and exceeding expectations – each and every time.

Company Background

DCS Global Enterprise Canada was formed in August of 1998.  They are known as a thought leader in the custodial services industry and to that end the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Canada has engaged his DCS to write their pandemic guide for 2020.  A testament to their brand.

In the COVID-19 environment, cleaning has become an essential service, helping keep employees, tenants and clients safe and healthy.  DCS develops effective cleaning standards and specifications to help prevent the spread of the virus.  In addition, they are de facto janitorial contract purchasing agents and also committed to improving environmental and sustainability practices in the cleaning industry by promoting green cleaning practices and ethical treatment of contract cleaners.

DCS has a large client base from coast to coast in all types of facilities.  Whether it is office buildings, industrial plants, health care facilities, schools or universities or retail properties, all are within the scope of their core competence of custodial consultative services. DCS brings a national scope to work with clients in their local market place.  In addition, they have a US presence and plan to expand in this geography.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum five years’ experience as Manager Operations, preferably in the consulting commercial property management and/or custodial sector
  • Exceptional data analysis skills to identify cause-effect relationships in order to create performance/operation metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business-related discipline and/or MBA with an entrepreneurial focus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
  • Technologically savvy with BI and reporting experience, preferred
  • Ability to travel to client locations within Canada on a semi-monthly basis
  • Driver’s license and reliable transportation is required

Attention to Detail:  Establishing procedures to monitor the results of delegations, assignment, or projects while showing concern for all aspects of the job.  Accurately checks processes and tasks; maintains respectful watchfulness of assignment or project.  Expresses ideas clearly in memoranda and letters, correct grammar, and terminology adjusting to the characteristics and needs of the audience.



This is an opportunity to lead DCS to the next stage of growth while continuing to be seen as the thought leader in the custodial sector.  This is an executive position that allows an exceptional people leader to learn the business and sustain the client centric culture.  If you have run your own business or have been fully accountable for the profit and loss of business unit and looking for a “stretch” opportunity, then we would like to speak with you.   As DCS evolves, you will have an important role in shaping the future.  They are looking for the next generation of leaders to take over from the current owners, which (depending on your ability and performance) could include profit-sharing and ownership.

Salary: $85,000 to 95,000.00 per year plus bonus and benefits
